The Arka-Druk company produces packaging. It has been operating on the Podlasie market since 2000, and since 2015 it has been based in Łapy. It employs about 70 people. The company has implemented several project co-financed by the EU funds. Thanks to them it is developing and expanding its offer.
We have been using EU funds since 2010 and during that time we have completed about nine projects with EU funding," said Artur Bach, president of Arka-Druk. - Recently, we have also received funding for our next ideas very quickly. The money will be spent on expanding the plant and purchasing more machines.
As part of the project, the company launched production of innovative product - Smart & Safe Box packaging. Thanks to the new technology, they has obtained packaging with much better parameters. The patented product model enables limited access to the content. If the box is opened, it cannot be closed again. This ensures safety, for example for pharmaceutical and cosmetic products, and improves the aesthetic appearance.
The company used the grant to modernise the production line and purchase machines necessary to produce the new product. It also purchased production flow studies along with the organizational integration of newly launched devices. Arka-Druk has filed a patent application for the innovative Smart & Safe Box packaging.
Another interesting project of the company was the investment in innovative Nano Protection Box packaging.
Thanks to the new technology - nanoparticles of graphene suboxide, it will be possible to obtain packaging with much better parameters, ensuring safety of the offered products. Thanks to the co-financing, the company expanded the company's production and warehouse space. It bought the machines necessary to start the production of a new product and control the quality of production. The innovative packaging of the Nano Protection Box has been filed with the Patent Office.
