Four Łomża streets have undergone modernization thanks to a grant from the Regional Operational Programme. In addition to road works, the investment included rebuilding of street lighting, storm water drainage, water supply and electricity. Infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists was also taken care of.

The total value of funding for all four projects is nearly PLN 30 million. One of the investments concerned the reconstruction of Zygmunt Gloger Street. The stretch was 284.73 m long, and connects the street with the TEN-T network (DK 61 - Wojska Polskiego street in TEN-T). Rainwater sewage system and road lighting were installed, as well as water supply and electricity were modernized. The value of this project is PLN 1 386 576.50. The subsidy from the Programme is PLN 1 178 589.96.

As part of the second investment, the voivodeship road No. 645 was rebuilt and expanded. The project is about modernising Nowogrodzka Street in Łomża together with road engineering facilities and technical infrastructure. The 1.63 km section was modernized - from the intersection with Sikorski Street to the city limits. The project concerned, among others construction of a footbridge for cyclists at the bridge over the river, construction of a pedestrian and bicycle route. It also included building additional turning lanes, reconstruction of exits, bus bays and bus terminus.The value of this investment is PLN 12 602 788.50, co-financing from RPOWP equaled PLN 9 468 550.71.

The third project was the extension of Poligonowa Street with a length of 1065.56 m. The street connects with investment areas in Łomża. Production, storage and service buildings dominate there. The investment covered also installation of power networks and secured telephone network. The project is worth PLN 4 948 510.99, and the co-financing from RPOWP is PLN 4 121 125.21.

The fourth road investment concerned the extension and building of technical infrastructure of Zawadzka Street in Łomża. Modernization was necessary due to the fact that Zawadzka Street serves a very large number of facilities with increased volume of traffic - 19 public institutions and 619 business activities. The value of this investment is PLN 23 069 254.38, co-financing from ROPPV is PLN 15 061 722.40.
