The KarT company has been operating since 1983. It started with metalworking in the garage, then the company expanded and developed. Currently, its main pillars are precision mechanics and automation of industrial processes. The company employs about 70 people.
One of the company’s projects implemented under the Programme was launching a modern production line, which will enable the company to offer new products. The line consists, among others, of a milling center, a specialized machining center, a laser welder, and an optical measuring machine with specialized software.
The new line will enable the production of three product groups: devices equipped with an innovative cleansing head, equipment for the food industry and new injection molds and production tools with parameters currently not offered on the market.
Implementing the project and launching new products have increased the competitiveness and innovation of the company.
KarT is also one of the leaders in the use of funds from the Regional Operational Programme. The company has acquired grants for total value of over PLN 6 million. In the 2014-2020 perspective, it also invests the funds for research and development, and innovative investments. The company also invests in renewable energy sources for the its own needs and participation in trade fairs.
On June 12, 2019, KarT signed another grant agreement within the Programme. The grant will be used for purchase of equipment for the new R&D department. The value of the grants equals PLN 1.3 million.
