The city of Suwałki implemented a project that was about rebuilding a part of the street and built a new section of road. The project involved the rebuilding of Leśna Street, from General Mieczysław Mackiewicz Street, lying near Krakowska Street to Wojska Polskiego Street. This section was 770.42 m long. A new section was built from Wojska Polskiego Street to Utrata Street. This section is located in the voivodeship road No. 655 in the city of Suwałki with a total length of 1,733.25 m. Rebuilding included also Utrata Street on the section that is 512.83 m long.
