Rebuilding and equipping the cardiology departments in hospital in Łomża cost PLN 11.5 million. Now, Łomża cardiology base is a 37-bed ward, including 12 intensive care units and a cardiac rehabilitation ward with the highest quality apparatus.
As part of the project, the Cardiology Department with the Intensive Care Unit and the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit were rebuilt. Modern medical equipment and apparatus were purchased for the departments of cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation, stroke and cardiological outpatient clinic for adults.
The project will increase the availability of high-quality medical services for the treatment of cardiovascular disease for the region's residents. It will improve the comfort of patients' stay and the working conditions of medical staff at the hospital.
