The Culture Centre in Bielsk Podlaski organizes activities in the field of promoting culture as well as satisfying the cultural needs of the city's inhabitants. The centre organizes or co-organizes about 200 events every year. These include festivals, concerts, exhibitions, theater shows and various workshops.
The main aim of the investment is the physical, economic and social revitalization of the marginalized area of the city of Bielsk Podlaski. The target group are residents of the area covered by the project, in particular people at risk of social exclusion, disabled, elderly and unemployed people.
As part of the project construction works were carried out, such as extension, reconstruction and superstructure of the existing building of the facility. The centre of the building is a well-equipped entertainment and cinema hall with a sound system, stage lighting, and the most modern projection system. The centre provides rooms for art and dance classes, as well as a "Games and plays" zone. There is also art gallery and conference room. The entire building has been adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. In addition, the project also included the purchase and installation of small architecture in the square outside the building.
