Gmina Puńsk has thermomodernised the building of the Primary School with Polish and Lithuanian Language of Teaching in Puńsk. Thanks to this investment, it will be possible to save thermal energy and use resources efficiently. The outer walls of the school were insulated, new glass blocks were inserted. The building's heating system has been significantly improved. A solar installation was also installed. Thanks to the project, it will be possible to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants into the atmosphere.

The second project included deep thermomodernisation of the day care room in Smolany.
