The investment will allow to purchase 12 modern and eco-friendly buses, which will be used in city transport. Moreover, the project will include building bus bays, loops and stops. Due to the reconstruction of certain roads, some towns will be included in public transport system and some new bus connections will be created. Beneficiaries will create or rebuild over 21 km public transport lines in the whole project.
The project will also include the construction of over 48 km bicycle roads with bicycle parking spaces, which will be connected with existing or planned bicycle routes.
Project will be carried out by Białystok City in partnership with 8 communes: Choroszcz, Czarna Białostocka, Dobrzyniewo Duże, Juchnowiec Kościelny, Łapy, Supraśl, Wasilków i Zabłudów.
